A native of Charleston, SC, Quintin D. Collins has dedicated the last 18 years to law enforcement after earning his B.S. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Sociology from Pikeville College in 2005, followed by an MBA from Strayer University in 2015. In addition to his service, he is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.

Quintin is also the owner of Smokin Rose Speakeasy, a unique establishment in Downtown Charleston that reflects his lifelong passion for hospitality. Inspired by family members who owned bars and nightclubs, Quintin envisioned a space that combines old-school charm with modern sophistication, offering a welcoming atmosphere for all.

The foundation of Smokin Rose Speakeasy is built on three pillars: cigars, bourbon, and music. The venue boasts a signature cigar collection featuring hand-rolled selections with Connecticut, Maduro, and Habano wraps, complemented by Dominican and Honduran fillers. Guests can explore a diverse bourbon selection, with an emphasis on both well-known favorites and hidden gems, ensuring an exceptional tasting experience.

At Smokin Rose, the focus is on creating memorable experiences rather than price points. Whether you’re trying a new spirit and saying, “I’ll definitely buy that for home!” or participating in events like cigar and bourbon pairing tastings, private gatherings, ladies’ cigar nights, or “Open Discussion” nights—dubbed the home of “Beautiful Lies and Ugly Truths”—Quintin invites you to discover the art of fine living in a comfortable, inviting setting.
