Peter Ivey is a dynamic social entrepreneur, chef, writer, and food security advocate who merges food, culture, and community empowerment. As the founder and CEO of The Reggae Chefs (TRC), established in 2012, he has transformed Jamaican cuisine into a cultural storytelling experience through customized events across Jamaica & The United States. TRC’s innovative approach has gained recognition from platforms like Forbes and the New York Daily News, with its legacy archived in The National Library of Jamaica.

Peter’s passion extends to combating food insecurity through Mission: FoodPossible (M:FP), which he launched in 2017 earning him a feature in Forbes Magazine. In 2020, Peter founded PIII Culinary Kit, providing tools and education for socially responsible chefs, further advocating for food systems and food security.

His initiatives have earned accolades including a U.S. Congressional Certificate of Recognition, the Caribbean-American Chamber’s Business Visionary Award, and the Caribbean-American Leadership Foundation’s Innovation Award.

Peter is also an acclaimed writer with one of his books spotlighted by UNICEF and his Food SecuriTales book series approved for distribution in Jamaican schools. Through projects like Scattered Jamaica and speaking engagements for UNESCO and other global platforms, Peter inspires future social entrepreneurs while driving innovative solutions to hunger and poverty.
