As Executive Chef of The Archer, Paul Farmer applies his French training and techniques to comfort food to deliver an upscale, but relaxed dining experience. Paul enjoys taking familiar ingredients and presenting them in new ways, allowing guests to explore new flavors in an approachable way. Prior to The Archer, Paul was the Executive Chef of Three Sirens in Park Circle, and before that, began his culinary journey in Charleston as the Executive Chef Butcher & Bee, where in 2022, he led the kitchen team as the restaurant was named a finalist for “Outstanding Restaurant” by the James Beard Foundation. Before moving to Charleston, Paul spent over a decade working in restaurants in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.
