Nathan Beauchamp

A D.C./Maryland native, Nathan has over 15 years of experience as a chef. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York in 1995. Nathan worked in New York under notable chefs such as David Burke and Tom Colicchio, and in D.C. under Jeff Buben as executive sous chef. Nathan opened Restaurant Eve as the chef de cuisine with Cathal Armstrong.

In 2006 he became the Executive Chef of 1789 Restaurant, received a 3 Star review from Washington Post, and won the Rising Star award from RAMW’s Rammy Awards. While at 1789, he also oversaw multiple restaurants for the Clyde’s group. In 2008 Nathan relocated to Minneapolis to work on an organic farm where he was a Chef Instructor at the Art Institute and received a B.A. in Culinary Management. In 2012, Nathan developed and partnered with the Devil’s Advocate, a craft beer bar in Minneapolis. Nathan joined the Fainting Goat team in 2014 to further develop Fainting Goat and grow with expansion. He has since conceptualized three restaurants in Washington DC where he acts as the Chef/co-owner: Tiger Fork, Calico, and Primrose.
