Mike Frost's upbringing took place in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Following his time at the College of Charleston, he relocated to Orlando and embarked on his professional journey within the Walt Disney World Culinary Apprenticeship Program. After successfully completing the program and obtaining an American Culinary Federation certification, he gained experience with the Darden corporation. Having lived in various locations across the Carolinas, he eventually returned to his hometown and took ownership of Casual Water at the Tega Cay Country Club and Conference Center.

In the subsequent years, Mike's adventures led him to explore different parts of the world. He resided in Thailand and the Philippines and traversed through various Asian countries, including Taiwan, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. More recently, Mike has been engaged in seasonal work across diverse locations like Alaska, Key West, Maine, Michigan, and most recently, the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. Mike is enthusiastic about returning to the South and, more importantly, to the city he holds a deep affection for – Charleston.
