Hailing from upstate New York, Chef DeCicco’s interest in the culinary arts began growing up in an Italian American household where home-cooked meals were at the center of family gatherings and holiday celebrations. With over a decade of experience cooking in the world-class kitchen’s of James Beard Award-winning chef Thomas Keller, Chef DeCicco most recently served as Chef de Cuisine at The Surf Club Restaurant by Thomas Keller in Surfside, Florida, where he helped lead the restaurant to its first Michelin Star. Finding his way to South Carolina, Chef looks forward to building exciting menus focused on authentic, yet witty dishes that celebrate Southern heritage and the bounty of local ingredients that the Sea Islands and Charleston have to offer.
