Years of Participation

Megan Murphy is a passionate food and travel writer based in New York City, and a frequent Charleston visitor (she absolutely loves the Holy City!). Her professional experience spans media outlets including AFAR, Bon Appétit, Clean Plates, Cooking Light, Eat This, Not That!, Eater, Fodor’s, Food & Wine, PopSugar, The Daily Meal, Thrillist, and Travel + Leisure. Megan is also an AFAR Ambassador and co-host of the Eat This, Not That! weekly podcast.

An avid wine enthusiast, Megan co-launched Lokē rosé—a Provence-produced, Hawaii-inspired, and 100% female-owned wine—in 2017 with her long-time industry friend, Blaine Ashley. Along with her love of discovering new places and flavors, Megan truly enjoys hosting and judging culinary events and is thrilled to participate in this year’s Charleston Wine & Food Festival. She shares her eating, drinking, and travel adventures (and occasionally pics of her adorable dog, Cooper) on social media @ThisGirlCanEat — please say hello!
