Matt Tunstall is co-owner and beverage director of Stems & Skins. Tunstall’s wine education was influenced by hands-on experience. Tunstall has been a professional wine steward for over 15 years. He moved to San Francisco after college to study food and wine where he had the opportunity to work with many top chefs and sommeliers. He has assisted in organizing beverage programs from classic to funky. Tunstall moved to the Charleston area in 2009, and has worked at the Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island Golf Resort and then headed up the wine program at Husk Restaurant for 4 years as the sommelier before opening up Stems & Skins.
