Lauren Hall

Years of Participation

Lauren Hall is a rising country artist, performer, and singer/songwriter. Beginning her story in the beautiful historic town of Charleston, South Carolina, Lauren soon discovered a deep love for her southern roots and country music.

Music was always a part of Lauren’s life growing up with a father who was a drummer in various bands and church ministry (Ironically, her father, Rick Hall is now the drummer in Lauren’s band). During her early teenage years, Lauren kept her love of singing and writing to herself, too afraid to let anyone hear her or her songs. However, it wasn’t long after Lauren picked up a guitar at the age of twelve that she began to believe in a dream that would change her life forever. Being a shy girl at heart stalled her desire to perform early on, but there was no stopping this dedicated songstress once she emerged on the music scene.

In the spring of 2014, Lauren released her debut EP, Our Time, comprised of six original songs, each having its own personality, story, and acoustic driven country-pop sound. Lauren’s writing influence comes from her love and connection with the songwriting style of Taylor Swift, Alison Krauss, The Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain and Miranda Lambert. Having written every song on the EP, along with many others in progress and ready to record, Lauren continues to develop her craft as an aspiring songwriter. Now at the age of twenty-two, Lauren has begun working on her first full-length album, featuring many new songs, some of which have become crowd favorites at her shows. Playing at some of the most popular live music venues around South Carolina, Lauren has gained experience in entertaining large crowds and continues to draw new listeners to her shows. Lauren and her band have played at various music festivals such as The First Flush Festival, headlined by Sheryl Crow, and the annual St. Pats In Five Points festival opening for Warner Music Nashville artist and songwriter, Michael Ray. Lauren has also had the opportunity to open for other notable acts such as Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence, Gary Allan, Thompson Square, David Nail, Tyler Farr, Chris Janson, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Maddie & Tae, LANCO, Jordan Davis, Chase Bryant and Mitchell Tenpenny.

Holding close her relentless faith and undeniable passion for songwriting, singing, and performing, Lauren continues to reach new levels in her music career with hopes of becoming a signed artist and songwriter. Given the chance, Lauren’s heartfelt songs, authentic voice, and humble confidence will surely capture the attention of many and have a lasting impact on all who pause to listen.
