Kyle Teears has a pretty particular style - resourceful and purposeful in his selection of ingredients, refined in his techniques, attentive in his plating, and totally unbridled in his creativity. Having been a part of culinary programs from the Outer Banks to the Appalachian Mountains, he finds his deepest love for ingredients native to the Carolinas particularly those that are foraged. Kyle brought his talents to Whiskey Kitchen over two years ago. As Executive Sous Chef, he has significantly impacted the style and quality of the menu and continues to surprise and impress his peers. His passion for food is closely followed by his love for teaching others.
