Chef Justin began his culinary journey at just 16, gaining hands-on experience in restaurant kitchens in Newport News, VA. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University in 2012, he went on to build an impressive resume that includes working with prestigious establishments such as The Capital Grille, playing a pivotal role in the opening of Eddie V’s in Charlotte, and refining his skills in the dynamic environment of Cooks & Soldiers in Atlanta. Each of these experiences have influenced his approach to crafting dishes that celebrate fresh ingredients and bold flavors.

In Charleston, Chef Justin combines his expertise and coastal roots to create memorable dining experiences for guests at The Ocean Course, marrying technical skill with a deep respect for local ingredients and seafood traditions.
