Justin has a long history in the food and wine industry, the last decade of which was right here in the Charleston fine dining scene. Having been brought up in an Italian household, wine and food have always played a significant part of his life. Believing that dinner is an event and not something that should be rushed or overlooked, he feels that the sense of coming together and breaking bread with one another is the most important part of the day. And when food is in play, wine must also be present; a meal without wine is tragic, after all!
Having stepped away from the restaurant scene, he is now the Director of Operations at The Wine Shop of Charleston. He is a Certified Sommelier and the author of two Prohibition Era cocktail novels.
