Born in Colombia South America. Settled in Mount Pleasant and attended local schools. After standing in line I finally became an American citizen. During this time I worked at a local antique store, obtained my auctioneers license and appraisers certificate then eventually my real estate brokers license. In 2008 as the antique and real estate markets took a nose dive I then returned to the family grocery business were using my Spanish heritage I developed a popular bodega style kitchen located at 843 Rutledge Ave. Torres Superettes has been family owned and operated since 1992 and I have been fortunate enough to sign the front of the checks ever since.
