Julia Momose is curating the beverage program at Oriole, the two Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant from Executive Chef Noah Sandoval and Pastry Chef Genie Kwon in Chicago. In 2016, Julia was named one of Eater’s “Young Guns,” a prestigious collection of ambitious and talented rising stars. That same year, Food & Wine named Julia a “Best New Mixologist." Looking ahead to 2018, Julia is partnering with Noah and Cara Sandoval to bring Chicagoans a bar experience like they’ve never seen before with Kumiko. At Kumiko, the team will embrace a philosophy similar to Oriole with a thoughtful experience filled with deep appreciation and understanding for craftsmanship.
