Joy is a new Orleans-based professional baker and entrepreneur turned three-time cookbook author who is well known for her daily dabbles in butter and sugar as her blogging alter ego, Joy The Baker. Since its launch in 2008, Joy the Baker has received many accolades, including being selected as one of the 50 Best Food Blogs by The Times (London) and being named Best Baking and Dessert Blog by Saveur, among other notable awards. Joy recently opened The Bakehouse - an inviting, hidden gem that functions as her home studio where she teaches cooking classes, prepares brunches and hosts Drake on Cake workshops and more each week.
