Executive Chef Jordan Aldrich’s culinary career and love of being in the kitchen began with washing dishes and waiting tables at his parents’ restaurant in Pennsylvania. After moving south, he worked at the Kiawah Island Club for several years before serving as Sous Chef at Purlieu and later joining the team at SAVI Cucina + Wine Bar in 2022. He draws inspiration from the hyper-local, hyper-seasonal produce and seafood of the Lowcountry, as well as from his love of reading and staying on top of food trends. He has a deep appreciation for the high level of service set by the SAVI team, the family-oriented culture among the staff and the restaurant’s excellent, award-winning wine program.
