Captain Jamie Hough is a highly respected professional angler, charter captain, and award-nominated chef. As the owner and captain of Redfish Mafia Charters and creator of The Redfish Mafia apparel company, Jamie has over 25 years of experience fishing competitively in more than 20 countries and competing in elite tournaments. He is a two-time champion and one-time national champion, with a proven track record in high-stakes competitive fishing. His expertise has earned him numerous TV and magazine features, including Sport Fishing Magazine, SC Sportsman Magazine, Mark Davis’ BigWater Adventures, and The Elite Redfish Series on Discovery’s Destination America.
Beyond the water, Jamie is a Top 9 Finalist on FOX’s MasterChef Season 10, showcasing his culinary talent on a national stage. He is the owner and chef of Three Forks BBQ and Catering and serves as the CEO, CFO, and Head Chef of Southeast Rescue and Relief (SERelief.org), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing disaster relief and thousands of free meals to those in need. He has also been featured as a Guest Celebrity Chef and Captain on Rucker’s Reno on the Design Network.
Jamie has cooked for some of the biggest names in music, including Lee Brice, Big & Rich, Cee Lo Green, Darius Rucker, Hootie & the Blowfish, Lainey Wilson, and Turnpike Troubadours, along with numerous other artists and celebrities. He operates a DHEC-certified, “A”-rated food trailer and multiple professional grilling and smoking setups. His work has earned him recognition as a nominated “Best Private Chef” for Charleston City Paper’s “Best of 2024” and invitations to prestigious events such as Holy Smokes BBQ Festival, Southern Roots BBQ Reunion, and Charleston Wine and Food.
Committed to giving back, Jamie is the founder of Southeast Rescue and Relief, which provides vital storm rescues, relief efforts, and food services to disaster-stricken communities. His dedication to service earned him the prestigious Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Jefferson Award for his heroic efforts during Hurricane Harvey.
