Jamey Fairchild

Originally from Maryland, Jamey grew up developing fond food memories eating at a restaurant owned and operated by long time family friends. It specialized in regional classics from areas in China and Thailand. Jamey started working in the food & beverage industry at the age of 16 as a fry cook at a local Mexican restaurant. Eventually deciding it was something that he wanted to pursue as a career, he worked his way up the line in Charleston, SC restaurants such as Teds Butcherblock, Xiao Bao Biscuit and restaurant Tu. In 2019, Jamey and a business partner started the Gingerbug popup to cook the style of food about which he is most curious and passionate.
