Ivy Mix is Co-Owner of Leyenda, her pan-Latin inspired cocktail bar, and Fiasco! Wine + Spirits, her bottle shop both in Brooklyn, NY. Leyenda has been recognized as being one of the best bars in America by Eater, GQ and others and has been twice nominated for the James Beard for Outstanding Bar Program. She published her book, Spirits of Latin America, in Spring of 2020 which won both the Spirited Award for Best New Cocktail Book and the AICP award for Best Book in Wine, Beer and Spirits. Ivy has been recognized by many as being one of the best bartenders in the country, being named both American Bartender of the Year at Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards in 2015 and Mixologist of the Year by Wine Enthusiast in 2016. With Lynnette Marrero, Ivy co-founded Speed Rack - a national cocktail competition that creates a platform for femme identifying bartenders while simultaneously raising money for breast cancer related charities. So far they have raised over $1,750,000 for charity.
