Heather Hutton’s sweet tooth kicked in early, and she’s been baking up a storm ever since. What started as a fun way to treat family and friends turned into a lifelong passion. After earning her stripes (and a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts) from Johnson & Wales, she quickly rose through the ranks, impressing diners with her creative, flavor-packed desserts.

From North Carolina to Charleston, Heather’s journey has taken her through fine dining and casual spots alike, always pushing boundaries with playful, unexpected flavors. In 2024, she teamed up with Paula Kramer to launch Roxa, a Petite Dessert bar, where the sweets are served dim sum style and packed with global influences. In the meantime, she can be found around town doing pop-ups and selling cakes, petite desserts for events and more. Heather’s desserts are a celebration of color, texture, and the perfect balance of flavors—because, for her, dessert should be anything but boring!
