A native of Buffalo, NY, Don has spent the last decade bringing his passion for the hospitality industry to Charleston. Growing up in a family owned restaurant, Don developed a passion for cooking at a young age, learning the ins and outs of the restaurant business from his parents. In 2009 he moved to Charleston and attended The Art Institute in order to further develop his culinary skills. While attending culinary school he took interest in the other side of the world and developed an affinity for classic and craft cocktails. His diversity of knowledge has seen him managing some great restaurants in Charleston such as Amen Street, Social Wine Bar, Poogan's Porch, and currently Burwell's Stone Fire Grill where he has spent the last year and a half.
