Wes Pickell was born and raised in a music loving household listening to Motown, Oldies, Classic Rock, and Beach Music..  When he came of age in the 90s, his love for Hip-Hop exposed him to Funk and Jazz by exploring the original samples used to create the music.   He has been collecting records all of these genres on vinyl for 20 years, and now he has made it his mission to share his music collection with the world!

As DJ MOSAIC he performs a "mosaic of music"  Freely blending sound samples from all genres, eras, and styles.  Using only Vinyl records as his instruments to design the soundscape of events large and small.   For a dance floor, more upbeat funk, and disco.. For a lounge or cocktail party, smooth jazz and melodic beats.  Classic, soulful, and feel good music always.

Currently in Charleston SC.   He is supplying the soundtrack to a wide variety of events, such as the 2019 High Water Music festival "Pass the Peas" event.  He has DJ'd private parties for prestigious Investors, and Designers.  He has been a part of a 3 years running monthly Funk and Soul night at the Royal American called "Souled Out"    He is also supporting his local record store, Monster Music by entertaining the crowd on Record Store Day and monthly Vinyl Saturday Events.
