Spartanburg, South Carolina native Dan Williams attended Limestone College when he found his passion for the food & beverage world. In school, he worked as a bus boy at Outback Steakhouse, and in 2001, Williams moved to the Lowcountry, where his love specifically for the cocktail scene flourished. He honed his skills at Stars Rooftop & Bar and later at Cypress off of East Bay Street, learning the F&B industry ropes and focusing on his wine education under the tutelage of Bill Netherland, Bob Cook and Craig Deihl. In 2016, Williams joined the Darling team as Bar Manager and has now assumed the title of Bar Director in anticipation of The Darling's forthcoming Savannah location opening.
