Corrie Wang is co-owner of Short Grain, an untraditional Japanese pop-up restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina, that prides itself on using local, sustainable ingredients and having the best regulars in the world. Short Grain has been named one of Bon Appetit’s Top Fifty Best New Restaurants and garnered a James Beard Rising Star Chef nod. Corrie also writes feminist-y young adult thrillers through Disney FreeForm books. Her next novel releases Fall 2019. In her downtime, she's getting a television series about restauranting into the mix.
