Brandon Olson is the Chef De Cuisine and Pitmaster at King BBQ in Charleston, SC. Brandon is a North Carolina native where he grew up loving and eating BBQ. He moved to Charleston 10 years ago to chase his dream of becoming a chef and has worked at many notable Charleston restaurants in where he honed his skill In whole hog butchery and charcuterie as well as BBQ. During those years he was nominated for eater young gun 2019 before becoming the opening sous chef at Jackrabbitfilly. Since helping open King BBQ, the restaurant has been included in Bon Appetit’s 2024 Best New Restaurants as well as #5 on Southern living best new bbq restaurants. Brandon is proud of this unique culinary experience and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
