Ashley Jappe has spent her career creating meaningful connections between incredible wineries and the passionate wine aficionados who seek out interesting and intriguing wines. She has found herself at home with J Vineyards & Winery, whose signature J style and food-friendly structure has been delighting wine and culinary fans for more than 35 years.

Charmed by the limitless possibilities of the world of wine, Ashley has focused her career entirely on wine, first in sales and then in marketing. Prior to joining J, Ashley spent four years at the luxury importer of fine wines now known as Maze Row Wine Merchant. There, she helped form and launch a community connected by a passion for wine and culture.

As Marketing Manager at J Vineyards & Winery, Ashley continues her dedication to connection and storytelling, sharing the wines, experiences and people that craft these award-winning wines. Founded as a dedicated sparkling wine house in the heart of Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, J was inspired by the traditions of French sparkling wine houses but with the vision to create a distinctively modern, bright California bubbles. Later, J earned acclaim for their portfolio of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and other still wines.

Crafting imminently food-friendly wines, J has long been a culinary pioneer in Sonoma County. For decades, J has been pushing the boundaries of wine and food pairing through innovative tasting experiences that explore new tastes and flavors alongside J’s celebrated wines.

Away from the winery, Ashley can be found alongside her husband and two young daughters, creating memories through exploring and enjoying the places, music, food and people that matter most.
