Amber Croom, a culinary artist from Birmingham, Alabama, began her journey after shifting from Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering in post-Katrina New Orleans. Over her 13-year career, Amber refined her craft while working alongside renowned chefs.

Her sweet journey started with an internship at Rimini Gelato and Chocolates in Vail, Colorado, diving into artisan gelato and chocolates. She later joined the luxury Silver Sea cruise line as a confectioner. Returning to Birmingham in 2014, Amber led the pastry department at Bellini’s Ristorante and Bar.

Amber’s television debut came in 2016 on Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship. This milestone paved the way for roles at the Sagamore Pendry Hotel in Baltimore and as Head Chocolatier for a premier catering company in Washington, D.C.

Today, Amber is the creative force behind And 4 Dessert and Co-Owner of Beye Beignets, captivating audiences with inventive flavors and stunning visuals. Her accolades include winning Chopped Sweets, appearing on Beat Bobby Flay, and claiming victory on Fox’s Crime Scene Kitchen Season 2.

Now based in Baltimore, Amber’s studio, And For Dessert, reflects her passion for pushing the boundaries of pastry artistry.
