Aaron Wells was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He started working in kitchens at the age of 15 with Ernest Yatrelis, a greek chef and preacher. He worked in different kitchens in downtown Summerville, including Five Loaves Summerville. He was soon promoted to chef of their Downtown Charleston location. He joined the team at Leon's in the Summer of 2018 and quickly became Sous Chef and a leader in the kitchen. Aaron was promoted to Chef and Kitchen Manager at Little Jack's Tavern in July 2019. When he is not working he is spending time with his wife and daughter, cooking something tasty at home or playing guitar.
