This exclusive three-night package (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) includes accommodations in an East Wing room at the luxurious Wentworth Mansion. Built in 1886 as a private residence, this beautiful mansion is located in downtown Charleston in the historic district just a short walk from Marion Square. Transportation is provided to all festival activities throughout the weekend events!

The weekend festivities begin on Thursday evening (4:30 PM – 7:00 PM) at Winederlust! Everything happens for a riesling and after last year, this event left us on cloud wine, chanting “sip, sip hooray!” So uncork + relax, because it’s back. Featuring varietals from around the world, this event will satiate every wine drinker’s palate. You’ll taste the vino rainbow as you sip waterside under the stunning live oaks of Lowndes Grove Plantation. Enjoy the spectacle of live-fire cooking and the unmistakable soundtrack of crackling embers + seductively smoky flavor that only burning wood can provide. A little piece of wine heaven has been carved out right here in the Lowcountry and we guarantee you’ll have a grape time. No passport required. Dress code is Lowcountry casual.

On Friday (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM) you will head to the festival’s Culinary Village, which is the heart and soul of Charleston Wine + Food. Located in downtown’s Marion Square, the Culinary Village is the ultimate culinary experience. The main stage will be jamming all afternoon with a mix of music, chef demos, and engaging conversations. The Hub will be back with food + beverage vendors, and the Artisan Market will be stocked full of incredible local and regional makers showcasing their masterful creations and unique flavors. You’ll definitely want to make your way to the Corkyard for a vast selection of vino, and of course, the Beer Garden for a sampling of your favorite suds. This year promises to be the biggest + tastiest Culinary Village yet.

The day isn’t over yet; Friday evening (7:30 PM – 10:00 PM) is sure to be a blast at Smokin’ in the Boys’ Room! While the BBQ scene may be known as a “boy’s club”, women all over the country have been working hard to carve out a place among this smoke-filled industry. For this event, the festival is featuring a ton of ridiculously talented women who will be cranking out some top-notch ‘cue. With smoky meats, delicious treats and thoughtful beverage pairings, this one is sure to cut through the haze. All hail the queens of ‘cue who are spreading the gospel of smoked meat! Dress code is Lowcountry casual.

After a leisurely Saturday morning, you’ll head over to Wine & Company where you will participate in A Jordan Library Tasting (1:00 PM – 2:15 PM). Jordan Estate is nestled in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma County, where the iconic Jordan Winery Château overlooks nearly 1,200 acres of rolling hills and vineyards dedicated to agriculture, hospitality, and conservation. Join winemaker Rob Davis, as he leads you through a vertical tasting from older vintages to younger wines. You’ll learn the magic behind how Jordan builds their famous Cabernet blend.

Saturday evening guests stroll over to the original carriage house in the rear of the property to experience Circa 1886 for an amazing Signature Dinner. (7:00 PM – 9:30 PM) One of Charleston’s most celebrated chefs and co-founder of the Charleston Wine + Food festival, Marc Collins, welcomes Austrian chef Martin Schnitzer to his kitchen to create a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience. Blending together Marc’s Lowcountry flavors with Martin’s international flair, these two master chefs will produce a meal full of flavor. Get ready to go on a culinary world tour.

On Sunday morning (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) you’ll finish out the weekend at the Butcher & Bee Wine Brunch. Taking their mantra of “Honest to Goodness Eats” to heart, Butcher & Bee head chef Michael Zentner, will carefully craft a brunch menu that will have you feeling right at home. Paired with delicious wines, you’ll enjoy imaginative dishes meant for sharing.

Transportation is provided to festival activities throughout the weekend. The Gourmand Package is limited in availability and is offered at a special rate of $3,425.00 (plus 14% tax) for two people. A deposit in the amount of $2,120 will be due at time of reservation. Cancellations must be received by 1/14/19 – any cancellations after this date will forfeit their deposit.
