What’s included in the ticket price for events?
All event tickets are all-inclusive. All food + beverage samplings and entertainment are included in your ticket price. Each event also has its own unique elements + fun surprises for guests. In addition, select festival events include commemorative glassware. One glass will be issued per guest; please treat it with kindness!
When should I buy my tickets?
Tickets for the 2020 festival go on sale Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 8:00 AM EST. We recommend purchasing your tickets early, as events sell out quickly! We will not be releasing any additional tickets following ticket launch.
Are there assigned seats for events?
Most events are open seating without assigned placement with the exception of Signature Dinners and seated brunches + lunches. If you are attending a seated meal and would like to make a seating request, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, February 21, 2020. The venues will do their best to accommodate, but we emphasize this is only a request.
What is the process for receiving tickets once they are ordered?
Each ticket holder will receive a confirmation email within 15 minutes after the order is placed with your tickets attached. If using the SquadUP app, you can save your tickets to your Apple Wallet or passbook. If you do not receive your tickets, please check your spam folder or email email@example.com.
ATTENTION: DO NOT COPY YOUR TICKETS! All tickets will be scanned for authenticity and only the first ticket scanned will be converted to an event wristband.
How do I reprint my ticket?
You can reprint your ticket by opening your original confirmation email that you received at the time of ticket purchase. Your ticket(s) will be attached to that email.
PLEASE NOTE: If any event logistics printed on the ticket (such as location, time, etc.) change, the ticket in your email confirmation will not automatically update. Charleston Wine + Food will notify guests of any logistical changes.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable between events. All events will take place rain or shine and event details are subject to change. If the event is sold out and you can no longer attend, you may return your ticket through the Official Charleston Wine + Food Ticket Exchange powered by Lyte or pass it along to a friend.
Will an event sell out?
Many events sell out within the first few days following ticket launch, and most events sell out before the actual festival weekend. All events are limited and Charleston Wine + Food encourages all interested guests to purchase tickets in advance to ensure attendance. If an event is sold out, you may join the waitlist through the Official Charleston Wine + Food Ticket Exchange powered by Lyte.
An event I was looking forward to sold out before I could buy tickets! What do I do?
We recommend joining the waitlist through the Official Charleston Wine + Food Ticket Exchange powered by Lyte. Through the exchange, guests can return their tickets to sold out events, and those interested in attending can join the waitlist! If a ticket becomes available, it will automatically be emailed to you.
What is Lyte?
Lyte powers the Official Charleston Wine + Food Ticket Exchange, where guests may return tickets and join the waitlist for sold out festival events. When will Lyte accept returns until?
If an event is sold out, you may return your ticket through the Official Charleston Wine + Food Ticket Exchange powered by Lyte. If you are interested in returning tickets to a sold out Signature Dinner, Lunch, or Brunch, you have until the end of day on Friday, February 21, 2020 to do so. Beginning Saturday, February 22, tickets to Signature Dinners, Lunches, and Brunches will not be returnable or transferable amongst guests. For all other events, you have until the event start time to return your ticket to sold out events via Lyte.
What do I do if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
If you are attending a brunch, lunch, or Signature Dinner and have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, February 21. The chefs at these events will do their best to accommodate special dietary needs, but we emphasize this is only a request.
All other events are not able to accommodate any special dietary needs or food allergies.
Will more tickets to sold out events become available?
We will not release any more tickets once events are sold out. If you are interested in attending a sold out event, we recommend joining the waitlist through the Official Charleston Wine + Food Ticket Exchange powered by Lyte.
Why are some events sold out prior to ticket launch?
One of the benefits of being a Friend of the Festival is receiving early access to tickets prior to public on-sale. If you are interested in purchasing tickets to any sold out events, you can do so by visiting the Official Charleston Wine + Food Ticket Exchange powered by Lyte.

Can I purchase tickets via Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.?
While you are welcome to purchase tickets directly from another guest, purchasing tickets via the Charleston Wine + Food Ticket Exchange powered by Lyte is the only way to guarantee that your tickets are valid. All tickets purchased via Lyte are safely + securely processed by SquadUP, Charleston Wine + Food’s ticketing company, so guests know they are receiving valid festival tickets issued in their name.
