Experiential Marketing + Partnership Intern

We are looking for dynamic, professional, hard-working and self-motivated individuals to gain hands-on experience working with and activating our partnerships through creative and experiential marketing efforts. Internship spans Fall + Spring semesters, spanning Fall 2019 through March 2020. Hours to be coordinated in conjunction with Development Director.


Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week

Must be available to work all hours during the festival week (Tuesday, March 3 – Monday, March 9, 2020)

Highly organized with the ability to multitask

Excellent communication, writing + editing skills

Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals

Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Drive, Dropbox

Learning Objectives

Develop a deep understanding of the Charleston Wine + Food partnership structure, value + voice

Tracking, organizing and executing partnership benefits + assets

Managing on-site partnership activations and relationships

Brainstorming activation ideas and strategies that are both creative + interactive

Supporting all partner-related social media efforts in conjunction with Marketing + Communications department

Monitoring social media posts for accuracy and proper representation of partners

Assisting with deliveries and errands when needed for the Development department and/or other departments

Assisting with VIP events + initiatives such as event planning, execution and disseminating appropriate credentials and collateral

Overseeing the execution of mailings, invitations, RSVP’s and handwritten notes
