Eating oysters, whether it be steamed, raw, or baked, is a Lowcountry cuisine staple and oyster roasts are a celebrated Lowcountry gathering. Oyster clusters cover the tables and guests gather ‘round for a communal shucking experience. A cornerstone of Lowcountry culture, the wild oyster is also crucial to our estuaries, providing key habitats for many economically important species and protecting our shoreline from erosion and flooding. Come go deep with us as we board a boat and explore wild oyster beds where you’ll learn the tips + tricks for harvesting local, wild oysters. Top it off with an oyster roast + bites by Chef Shaun Brian paired with the perfect sips. This is one FOMO-inspiring Lowcountry excursion.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable between events
  • Charleston Wine + Food is requiring all guests, staff, talent, and vendors to either: provide proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, taken within 72 hours of each day you are attending. Read more about our 2022 Health + Safety policy
  • This event is all-inclusive: food, beverage, and experiences are included in the ticket price
  • A provided + required shuttle will transport guests to and from the event. The shuttle departs at the event start time from the CHSWF Excursion Hub at 375 Meeting St. Due to the nature of the excursion, we will not be able to accommodate late arrivals or early departures
  • Attire: wear what makes you feel most comfortable, keeping in mind that this event takes place outdoors. We recommend flat shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit damp and are comfortable wearing on the farm
  • All guests must be 21+ (no infants, children, or pets)
