Whether you’re pulling them out of the marsh or out of your broiler, oysters make every dining experience that much better and are a staple in Lowcountry cuisine. But let’s face it: they can be a little daunting and seemingly impenetrable to all but the most skilled raw bartender. But with the right technique you can prepare + enjoy these briny balvive delights in your own home. In this hands-on class you’ll learn the basics of shucking from a local pro followed by a demo of different preparation techniques that make these culinary pearls shine. You’ll be enjoying the salty slurp of oysters in no time!

Know Before You Go

  • ALL BAGS MUST BE CLEAR except for small personal clutches (no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″)
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable between events
  • This event is all-inclusive: food, beverage, and experiences are included in the ticket price
  • Attire: wear what makes you feel most comfortable, keeping in mind this is a hands-on experience; we recommend closed-toed shoes and having your hair pulled back
