COVID-19 REFUND POLICY

 

If you have purchased a ticket to Charleston Wine + Food’s 2023 festival and are unable to attend due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, you are able to submit a request for refund using the form below. The window for submitting COVID-19 refund requests closes on March 10, 2023. Charleston Wine + Food will review requests beginning March 7, 2023, and any refunds issued will be confirmed by March 31, 2023. 

All requests must be submitted by the end of day on March 10, 2023 for consideration.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT CHARLESTON WINE + FOOD TICKETS ARE OTHERWISE NON-REFUNDABLE AND THIS REFUND POLICY ONLY APPLIES TO COVID-19 RELATED INSTANCES.*

We ask that you not attend if any of the following is true for you:

  • Are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain / achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting or diarrhea, fatigue, or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
  • Do not need to quarantine due to close contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19
  • Are not under any self-quarantine orders

 

REFUND OPTIONS

FOR TICKETS PURCHASED VIA CHSWF.COM

If the event is sold out and there is an active waitlist, you will be able to sell your ticket to Lyte, Charleston Wine + Food’s official ticket exchange. Lyte will pay you directly for the cost of the ticket, issued within 14 days of exchanging your ticket.

Sell or gift your ticket to a friend or family member. Please email ticketing@charlestonwineandfood.com with the full name and email address of the guest you would like to transfer your ticket to. You can also seamlessly transfer your ticket to a friend or family member directly via Lyte and their secure fan-to-fan exchange.

Request a refund using the COVID-19 Refund Request form: The COVID-19 Refund Request Form will become live on this page beginning Sunday, February 26, 2023. Refund requests will close at the end of the day on Friday, March 10, 2023. Honored requests will be issued a full refund less the cost of the ticketing fees ($5/ticket) and 3% credit card processing fee.

Donate the cost of the unused ticket(s) to Charleston Wine + Food: As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, you can donate the cost of the unused ticket(s) to Charleston Wine + Food and receive a tax donation letter. This donation helps support our mission so we can continue bringing you the Charleston Wine + Food experience you know + love!

 

FOR TICKETS PURCHASED VIA LYTE

Please reach out to Lyte directly for refund options. Charleston Wine + Food will not be able to accommodate refunds for tickets purchased via Lyte.

 

FOR TICKETS PURCHASED BY SOMEONE ELSE AND SOLD VIA FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE, CRAIGSLIST, ETC. 

Charleston Wine + Food is unable to accommodate refunds for tickets purchased via Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or any other third party seller. 

 

PLEASE NOTE

If it is found that the ticket you are looking to receive a refund on has been scanned into the event, your request will be ineligible

Charleston Wine + Food will request proof of a positive COVID-19 viral test taken during the date(s) of the event before processing refund. Acceptable tests include FDA authorized at-home tests with a digital resulting option, PCR, PCR rapid, or Antigen test. You may not provide a photo of your physical test or test strip. ONLY official results from the manufacturer are accepted for at-home tests.

Requests will only be reviewed and processed if they are submitted via the below form; only primary ticket purchasers (those who purchased via the Charleston Wine + Food website) are eligible to request a refund via this form.

If you purchased your ticket via Lyte, please reach out to support@lyte.com and speak with their team directly regarding refund options

Charleston Wine + Food is unable to accommodate refund requests on tickets that were purchased via Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or any other third party seller

Charleston Wine + Food will not issue refunds where a) attendee chooses not to attend an event because they are concerned about being exposed to catching COVID-19) or b) in the instance where the attendee chooses to comply with Charleston Wine + Food policies or procedures
