Charleston Wine + Food

If you’re like us, being at home is probably starting to take its toll. Now more than ever it is important to take the time to rest, reset, and spend time doing the things you love. Choose to be kind and give yourself the space to check out for a while. Here are a few things our team does to keep spirits up and positivity flowing.

Press Play

If you walk into the CHSWFF office on any given day, you’re guaranteed to hear our team jamming along to some tunes. We’re keeping the party going at home with a playlist of our favorite songs.

Tune In

More of a podcast person? Some of our team’s favorites include Home CookingYou’re Wrong AboutUnlocking Us with Brené Brown, and Radical Empathy. You can also listen to the first season of CHSWFF’s very own podcast, Tasting Notes!

Book Worms

Give the screens a break and cozy up with a good book. Some of our current reads include Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson, Untamed by Glennon Doyle, and Know My Name: A Memoir by Chanel Miller.

Just One More Episode

We’ve all been there. Sometimes you just have to watch one. more. episode. Our obsessions? Little Fires Everywhere on Hulu, Schitt’s Creek, and Outer Banks on Netflix, which was filmed right here in Charleston.

At-Home Chefs

Anyone else stepping up their home cooking game? The team is keeping the flavor rolling in their kitchen’s with our favorite recipes, including Alison Roman’s Caramelized Shallot Saucestuffed bell peppers, and this fried rice recipe from Shuai Wang of Jackrabbit Filly.
