Located in North Charleston, South Carolina, Snafu is a new craft brewery owned and operated by husband-and-wife Scott and Julie Koon. With almost a decade of professional brewing experience under Scott’s belt and a degree in Brewing Technology from the Siebel Institute, Scott (or Skoon as he’s known as around town) knows how to make good beer. Snafu’s home is on Industry Drive in an 8,000 square foot space, housing a 15bbl brew house and four 30bbl fermenters, with plenty of space for a sweet taproom (opening late 2016) that will give you some serious 90’s hip hop vibes.

Snafu has made quite a splash in the market since their debut in August of 2016 with several favorite styles, however their most notable among the group seems to be their flagship Snafu-Tang – a sour ale brewed with oranges. Just taste this one and try not to think of a mimosa!

The Lowcountry isn’t the only place that is getting a taste of Snafu either! As of November 2016, Snafu has signed with distribution in the Myrtle Beach, Columbia, and Rock Hill areas of South Carolina as well! Cheers!
