Shuai Wang was born in China and raised in New York, he has always been surrounded by amazing food growing up. He attended the Art Institude of NYC, and honed his cooking skills in the busy restaurants of Manhattan. Today Shuai shares his love for food with the people of Charleston, South Carolina. Serving sustainable, local, untraditional Japanese. Shuai is one of the winners of Eater Young Guns 2016, and his food truck Short Grain have been named one of the America’s 50 Best New Restaurants 2016 by Bon Appetit.
