In 2016, Chef Scott Crawford will open his first restaurant – Crawford & Son – a neighborhood restaurant in downtown Raleigh, NC. His casual take on locally sourced food earned rave reviews at Standard Foods in 2015. Southern Living praised his cuisine saying “Raleigh Tastes Better Than Ever.” In 2016, Crawford competed win on Bravo’s “Recipe for Deception.”

Crawford’s accolades include the coveted Forbes Five-Star award for Herons in The Umstead Hotel and Spa, The Georgian Room at The Cloister Hotel, and for The Woodlands Resort & Inn. Under Crawford’s direction, Esquire Magazine named The Georgian Room a “Best New Restaurant” and Newsweek recognized Herons among the “101 Best Places to Eat in the World.”
