Matt Tunstall’s wine education was derived by hands-on experience. He has been a professional wine steward for over 15 years. After moving to San Francisco after college to study food and wine, he has worked with many top chefs and under top sommeliers, organizing beverage programs from classic to funky. Tunstall moved the Charleston area in 2009 and has worked at the Sanctuary Hotel and, the past 4 years at Husk restaurant. Along with his business partner Justin Croxall, they opened Stems & Skins in January of 2016. It is a neighborhood bar serving natural wines, classic cocktails, and beers from around the world.
