Growing up in Indiana, Kyle Foster traveled throughout the south with his family. As a child, he often helped his Grandmother in her kitchen and garden, sprouting a love for food and a passion for hospitality. His family eventually settled in Florida, where he started working in various kitchens as a teenager. There he attended culinary school, learning the basics. From high end restaurants to hotels to food trucks, Kyle has worked in a variety of different restaurant environments, honing his skills. He moved to Colorado in 2010, where he met his now wife, Katy. Together they’ve traveled the world, exploring different cultures and embracing unique food adventures. After all of these experiences, Kyle is opening Julep Restaurant in the RiNo district of Denver. Julep will be a return to his own roots, preparing thoughtful food, respecting tradition, and knowing where it comes from.
