After college, travel and a brief banking turn in her hometown of Atlanta, Juliette moved to New York for culinary school in 1994 and never turned back. She spent the next 22 years in the New York restaurant business, starting as a line cook and ending as the wine director of Gramercy Tavern. After 19 years there, she recently stepped off that stage and headed behind the scenes into the wine wholesale world at David Bowler Wine. Juliette is also a partner in her chef-wine-director husband Ralf Kuettel’s restaurant Trestle on Tenth on Manhattan’s Lower West Side.
