Joshua Shea is the food and beverage director for the Charleston RiverDogs. Chef Shea is a 2006 graduate of Clemson University who also earned an associate degree from the Culinary Institute of Charleston. Previously, Chef Shea was the catering chef at Tidewater Catering and also spent time at Triangle Char and Bar in West Ashley and at Halls Chop House in downtown Charleston. He also served as a personal chef during this time.

A native of Abbeville, S.C., Chef Shea placed first in the 2012 Charleston Wine + Food festival’s Brisket and Shoulder competition while also taking home first place in the 2011 Pearlstine Competition Home Cooking category and first place in the 2011 Oyster Competition for his Oyster Rockefeller.
