Lucrezia was born in Alba and has always lived in Canale, in the heart of the Roero wine region. This is a land she is in love with for its fascinating rolling hills where she loves to walk and get lost in since childhood.

While still a young student she met her husband Francesco during the village celebrations (a wine festival of course!) and it was love at first sight/glass. A few years earlier Francesco started his wine business founding the Monchiero Carbone winery and continuing the family tradition of winemaking with great passion, which immediately infected Lucrezia who was already a Nebbiolo lover.

After obtaining her degree from the Academy of Music and raising her two children to school age, Lucrezia became part of Monchiero Carbone full-time. She works harvest, supports foreign markets, and organizes winery tours and tastings.
