Craig began his career in the wine business in the 1980’s with the E&J Gallo Winery after a stint as a Marine Corps infantry officer. After 5 years of increasing sales responsibility he accepted a senior management position at Monsieur Henri, then the North American marketer of Stoli vodka and a range of French and German wines. In 1994 Craig and another executive started a specialty beverage importer focused on artisanal wines and spirits. He sold the company to a UK company in 2000 and began a consulting business focused on assisting brand owners navigate US distribution challenges. In 2004 Craig was introduced to Richard de los Reyes, founder of the newly launched Row Eleven Wine Co. January of 2005 Craig and his wife, Lin, acquired shares in Row Eleven Wine Co and Craig assumed responsibility for the sale distribution of the Row Eleven portfolio.
