Co-owner of one of Charleston’s newest breweries, Chris comes to the festival this year with a tremendous understanding of the booming craft beer industry. Before the Tradesman, he spent 4 years working locally with the Palmetto Brewery, helping out the city’oldest beer-maker.

Prior to Palmetto, Chris found his love for great beer while living in Ft Collins Colorado, where he was exposed to a multitude of amazing brews during the first rise of craft beer. These beers eventually drew him to a 9 year stint with the New Belgium Brewing Company where his love and talents could manifest.

He’s a nice guy, likes bikes, sushi, hot-tubbing, and talking to anyone who will listen about why beer is the best beverage of them all.
