He's written about the intersection of food and business (and often science and technology) for Wired, Bloomberg Businessweek, The New York Times, NewYorker.com, and EatingWell.  In 2012, he received a James Beard Foundation Award for food politics, policy and environmental reporting, and has since been nominated for two others. His work has been anthologized in various editions of Best Food Writing, Best of Technology Writing, and Best American Sports Writing.
