- Owned and operated two restaurants in NYC: De Rosa and Pierino – both restaurants were written up in NY Times
- These restaurants promoted the greatest selection of wines from Campania ever assembled in the US
- Maurizio entered the wine business promoting wines from Campania and started to consult with Feudi full time about 3 years ago
- Maurizio has been featured as guest Sommelier on the NY Times tasting panel
- Mario Batali, Arthur Schwartz and Ed Levine have acknowledged Maurizio’s contribution to their books about food and wine of Naples. In particular, his pizza expertise
- Maurizio is currently writing a book about Taurasi and is a regular wine columnist for The Epoch Times
