Shane Graybeal was born and raised in the mountains of NC. Drawn to life in the kitchen at an early age, he spent a lot of time working the family's garden and learning the ways of his grandmother. After many years traveling and working in many top kitchens, he has made his return to his home state, to helm the kitchen at Rocksalt. Shane hopes to reinvigorate Charlotte's food scene and elevate classic southern cuisine.
