Giovani Puccioni

Years of Participation

Giovanni Puccioni was born in Siena and grew up in Paganico, a small town in the heart of Maremma, south of Tuscany. From his  earliest  age he felt very close to his territory and  passionate about agriculture which Maremma is famous for. He graduated from the Agricultural Technical Institute of Grosseto, after he enrolled at the Faculty of Agriculture of the Catholic University of Piacenza, where he graduated in Viticulture and Oenology in 2007.

After finishing his studies, his aspiration was to be able to work in the world of wine, which has always fascinated him. His goal was to become active within his territory because he knew the potential of the vineyards and the quality of the products of Montecucco.

Precisely for this reason, from 2008 he began his work at Collemassari, in the heart of the Montecucco DOCG, where he gained experience in one of the most famous cellars of the national scene, taking on the role of company winemaker. It can be said that Giovanni and the winery have grown together, in fact, with the last year just passed Giovanni has reached the milestone of the tenth harvest at Collemassari.
