Robert Carter has garnered four "Best Chef" and "Best Restaurant" titles in the five-year history of the Charleston City Paper's Annual Best of Charleston Readers Poll. Under Carter's direction, Peninsula Grill has earned the coveted Mobil Four-Star rating and was named by Food & Wine as one of "America's 50 Best Hotel Restaurants." It is located in the Relais & Chateaux Planter's Inn.
